As we all know, many US military personnel are currently overseas serving our country. These brave men and women miss home terribly and for many a letter from home means the difference between hope and despair. Correspondence from home is the MOST requested item from most military personnel. Sadly many of those stationed overseas never receive regular correspondence from home. It was with this in mind that A Muse Artstamps, a paper crafts company in Seattle, WA set out to make a difference. A Muse has teamed up with Operation Troop Aid to put a hand made card of appreciation in the hands of as many deployed military men and women as possible. A Muse Artstamps is encouraging people all across America to participate in Operation Hero Mail. Completed cards will be included in care packages and distributed by Operation Troop Aid to troops around the world. In order to accomplish this, A Muse has created two Hero Mail kits that contain all the supplies you need to make cards whether or not you are a "card maker." Each kit includes blank cards, envelopes, a clear stamp set, ink and instructions on how to make cards that show our troops how much we appreciate them. A Muse will also be donating $5.00 per kit purchased to Operation Troop Aid. This is a fun project to do on your own or with a group of friends. It is also a fun project for students, youth groups and service groups. Please join us in bringing encouragement and inspiration to those men and women who are serving our country overseas and let them know that they are “NOT FORGOTTEN”. Even if you do not consider yourself a "crafty" person you can participate. Whether you are an individual, a school, or a private group, you can make a difference in the life of someone who is serving our great country.
